Can this be done?
I measured some up roughly (been offered a pair cheap) unfortunately the mounts for the rails are about 30mm short of where they need to be. It would be possible to cut and rewield these in the right place. Is this legal?

Will the seats mount to the bighorn rails.
I have recaros in the bighorn and factory seats in the wizard. I might be getting old but the seats I prefer to sit in are not the recaros.
In the unlikely event that a mechanic sees the welded seat mounts at wof time he is likly to ask for cert.

Thought that was the case, the seats will not bolt up to the rails. I have heard that impreza seats bolt in so might check that out

Seat mounts don't appear to need creating but seat belt mounts definitely do.
Just went through this with a car and the rails and brackets only got a small look at.
Matt.
