Operating power windows after pulling the key

Postby mubee » Fri Apr 26, 2013 8:26 pm

MU's kill power window operation when the key is anywhere but ON. Can't even use them in ACC :( I used a delay board and did a mod in the cab fuse box. Full post happened accidentally while discussing in another board. My post there http://www.clubisuzu.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=4847#p32975 refers. If there's enough interest I'll build a few kits and pack 'em up for posting with instructions. Need at least 10.

when having trouble with mine I got to the point of proving that the power relay was not receiving power but then the problem disapeared again. During testing I found I could loop the connectors in the fuse box and get permanant power windows.
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Is there a relay to activate ON power and ACC power?? I thought this was done direct through the ignition switch on the MU. Anyway, thinking about removing my delay circuit and just taking the feed from the same place as the cig lighter ie power applied when ON and ACC rather than just ON atm. At least one can roll down the window and see the sunset when you're in the seat listening to the radio.
