I heard an interesting story about por15.
My father in law is into kit cars and at one of the shows he was at there was a stand for this stuff and demos. Anyway someone came up to the stand asking how to remove the stuff from skin. The answer was "you cant you have to wait a few weeks till that skin comes off naturally as it does" The guy looked a little sheepish at this stage. Turns out he had been wearing the gloves etc while applying it but had needed to go to the toilet and hadnt removed the gloves first.
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

yeh. i know it takes a heep of prep.still not a fan of it ive seen a heep of rusted out car's (being a welderfabrocator by trade) that people have had por15 and still rusted out. i did a series1 land rover chassis like 3years agoa in this wattle stuff(ill find the name of the product its a two pot system with the resen and hardner) and the guy drives it in salt water at least 3times a week and the chassis stil hasent even gt a sign of rust. if that were a por15'ed it would be at the wreckers by now with a rotten chassis.

for any painting i would recommend getting it sand blasted first, it sounds like a lot of hassel, but most sand blasters are usually keen for a bit of cash or a couple of cartons, and it makes any kind of paint stick much better.
Oh how i miss my mu, the lux is just not the same :(
