Re:Engine Swap to D-MAX 3.0 TDI

Hi Guys,

A friend of mine with a Isuzu Rodeo/Holden just lost and engine i was told due to a faulty Oil pump.... He is now toying with the Idea of sourcing an engine from the ISUZU D-MAX 3.0...

Is this upgrade possible in the older Holden?... and would he be able to use the current gearbox etc with this newer engine or will he also have to change the gearbox as well...What else will he need to change or source to complete this conversion if its possible?

If anyone has done this swap please advise..
