Alternator vacuum pump

Postby topgun94 » Wed Mar 19, 2014 10:17 pm

HEy guys.
I have another question for the ISUZU gods.
Could i use a GQ alternator with its original vacuum pump instead of the low mounted isuzu one.

I would mount this up with where the aircon unit is.

Let us know what you reckon!

Cheers

You will have trouble mounting a alternator with vacum pump where the air con was. The pump will foul the turbo. What others have done is leave the standard alternator in place but driving only the pump and then use a petrol alternator mounted where the air con was
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
