MU sunroof drain question

Postby gb89amigo » Fri Nov 06, 2009 1:45 pm

Experts,

Having trouble with my sunroof drain/s. Can anyone tell me where the 4 drain holes in the sunroof go to? After last storm, heard water sloshing around inside the body  while turning and finally removed a brake light assembly, shoved a rubber hose to bottom of cavity and siphoned it out. There must be a clogged drain, but have not spotted it yet. Can you point me in the right direction? Mine is an 89 Amigo(MU) XS 2.6L petrol, 5spd.

Thanks,

GB

At the bottom of the sill there is a drain at the front near the back of the front body mount and at the front of the rear body mount. They are only small drains I use a bit of fence wire to clean them

So thats where the bloody water is coming from in my MU!!!!

I have a sunroof and for a few days after a rain I always find puddles just under the door hinges on the garage floor. I have been trying to work it out for months!!!

God I feel dumb now lol!!!

Pig75,

Thanks very much, I'll check the drains in the AM now that I know where to look! :D
