4jg2 fuel screw not doing any thing

Hey I gota 96 wiz with a 3.1 in it.and was hoping to get help with turning the fuel up.i can turn the screw bt it dosnt realy do any thing.can I hook up a elictric fuel pump to.thanks.

96 models are probably electronic controlled that would be your problem.

my 96 wizard is non electronic. The fuel screw only affects full throttle

Fuel screw controls the amount of fuel from idle to full throttle, normal after adjusting they are more smokey at idle if left idling, you need to turn it at least a full turn before you will notice anything, you will have to adjust the base idle also

My bad it must be 97 after that had electronic injection pump yep I had to turn my screw about 3/4 of turn before anything happened if I remember right and had to reset the idle back down to.
