Get help fixing your Isuzu from other club members

NOISY TAPPETS

Have a 3.1 TDI with noisy tapets. Have tryed resetting them 3X and also replaced the rockers.
Any help would be appreciated

Mate gave me 20L diesel
Turned out to be 20L kerosine
Dam it went fast (For a while)

Noisy tappets are not usualy a problem apart from the noise. Ive always set tappets by finding the valve fully open then turn the crank a full turn doing one tappet at a time. Its a slow method and real pain on a diesel but will always work
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
