Alternator vacuum hoses

Hi, I have just replaced alternator on my 1996 wizard 4jg2, was wondering what the top hose on back of alternator ( the little one with no clamp) is attached to, as I pulled it out by mistake when removing old alternator

You should find another hose in front of the aircon pump. They join together
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
