lumpy idling

Postby Fr8liner » Wed Aug 16, 2023 10:19 pm

hi guys i’ve got a 97 plaiser and she’s had a efi injection pump re-kit and timing maintenance done recently. i’m now experiencing a lumpy idle it’s hard to explain but i geuss the beat is leaning towards a rotary engine. anyone heard idling like this? if it’s in drive and sitting stationary it evens out a little due to it being under load i suppose. if i know how to scan the vehicle would be fantastic but i can not find the software pre 2001 for jap isuzu suitable to read the vehicle. any leads i would appreciate.

pump has been rebuilt by a professional in thames, well refurbished with a new kit, he replaced a sensor at the rear of the injector pump because he replaces that certain one on all of them.
