I had a random oil pressure woe. Normally the cold idle oil pres is 4 then drops to 2 hot and driving hot 5-6. On the Napier-taupo after giving it a thrash up a hill it went down to 2 driving, 2.5 redlining and 1.5ish idling. What would have caused this? Its sort of recovered some after being left and restarted and had the correct oil level in it the whole time. I have now changed the oil and it seems way better. Maybe its time for new bearings or oil pump?

Mine did the same thing on the Napier Taupo. It was summer.quite hot and those hills are big and steep. 700kg on the towbar didnt help. It was the last time I had Repco brand oil in my sump. 10 years and anouther 50000km no problem
