either not waiting for the glow plug light to go out or a faulty glow plug or low compression

if it was low compression would it affect how it runs all the time? cos its seems to run sweet after it stops smoking and has plenty of power, glow plugs have just been replaced and i double glow it usually, starts allgood but just smokes and runs rough. am i just worrying to much and shuld just leave it?
cheers

still sounds like a glow plug problem to me also, just because they're new doesn't mean they're all good, or they might be good but not coming on at all, the light coming on in your dash doesn't always mean the plugs are getting juice, I'd check and make sure their getting12V's.

checking glow plugs a lot cheaper and easier than compresion test. A bad cylinder wont fire as well cold but once it gets heat from the other pots will work ok

i put mine down to glow plugs, the lite was coming on but wernt gettng enough power, she still chugs a little for about 10 seconds, every little chug itle blow out blue smoke wich i think is oil from the rocker cover breather settling in the intake, it used to be worse without a oil catch can, my catch can is too small and still ends up getting a bit in the intake.
