Postby massiveutility » Wed Apr 07, 2010 8:16 pm

hi could someone help me.
i've removed my 2.8 diesel and fitted a commodore v6 engine. but i don't know if the coolant tap for the heater was on the old engine or is it installed somewhere in the dash. i've just ran the hose's from the engine to the fire wall hoping for the best when i start it up. could someone tell me if i need one.

There is no tap. Water flows through the heater core all the time the air gets directed around the core or through the core
