New pistons and rings going into the new liners, new small end bearings (these had to be reamed as they are un unfinished size)

It came in the kit, as the kits you buy are for belt and gears. The only thing that hasn't been in the kit so far is the o-ring for the cam shaft seal retainer, which is a 50mm x 2.5mm and diesel pump gasket which I just made. The kit I got from Roodogs on eBay, it had new pistons, liners, bearings, full gasket and seal kits, sealant, and basic setting chart.

The rebuild kit i got was for a gear drive only. I had to get a camshaft seal and T/cover gasket

It might be a bit late, but the liners are much easier to get in, less likely to be deformed and/or scratched if you put them in a Freezer (in bag to keep out moisture) or use dry ice.... just push in, with maybe a light tap at the end. :-)

Don't worry they went in easy, I had the block in the hot wash for about 3 hours to get the dirt off before I pushed them in, I worked out on the last two that I just needed to slide em in then a little tap with the soft hammer and they were in.

The intake plenum on this was heavily caked with oil gum, this was from the blown engine which would have been in good condition before it went for a swim, the valves were in the same engine... I tried everything to get it out, degreaser, burning, turps, and hot wash for hours.
