Hey all
the other day my mu started blowing smoke so i decided to have a look and i found oil coming out of the outlet of the turbo i sprayed some fuel into the turbo while the engine was off and blow it out with air and it seames to have sealed again but it filled the boost acuator with oil and it was playing up so i disconected it and bloked the end of the acuator hose so i could still run my gauge it now runs at 15 to 17 psi insted of 10 psi i sort of knew this would happen now i have more power i was thinking of continuing to run it like this the quetsion is will i hurt any thing from doing this
I think therefore i am confused

Mine runs like that all the time due to a siezed boost control. I havent managed to break it and many people here can testify that I have tried. You only get max boost at near max throttle
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
