anather question for someone- how do i get the main pully off at the front of the engine? cheers

Undo the four bolts holding it on and gently tap it until it comes off. You may need to use a bit of persuasion on it. Don't undo the big center bolt!

thanks, i got the pully off, and ive taken the big bolt out because i need to take the crank shaft out, i cant seem to be able to get the timing belt wheel off the end of the shaft, could anyone help with this?

Also can anyone tell me the best way to get the liners out?

I used a piece of 10mm plate. Turn it down to the size of the outside of the liner then turn a 3mm step that fits inside the liner then put a thread in the centre (i used 10mm threaded bar) then use a plate at the top of the block with some spacers to pull the liner out.
So at the top of the block you have spacers a plate with a hole then the threaded rod down the hole screwed into the 10mm plate at the bottom and wined the liner up through the block
