will a 3.1 isuzu motor fit into a 2.8 mu

Does anyone know if a 3.1 turbo motor out of a mu will bolt straight up to the gearbox, engine mounts etc of a mu which has a 2.8 turbo in it at the momment. Any help would be great. cheers.

It has been done. I think there was a hiccup around the clutch but cant remember
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

yeah i heard that the 2.8 clutch isnt strong enough or something.

3.1 clutch costs 1 1/2 times as much
