Get help fixing your Isuzu from other club members

how do i get the timing gear off the end of the crank so i can get the crankshaft out? seems to not want to budge.

From memory I used a two leg puller to get it moving and then slid off by hand. Its just a keyway and needs a bit to budge it.

This is what my friend did. You can do this with a crankshaft kits on hand. You have to pull everything out of the way that is in front of the engine, including the water pump and harmonic balancer. After all of that is removed, there is a cover over the front of the engine. Pull that and you should see the timing gears on the cam and cranks

But before you can take the nut off you will have to take the pedal off the crank you got the nut free. Then you can slide the nut off the crank arm.
And then you have to maneuver the crank through the frame. And then you should remove the bearings right after so you won't loose them.

Airbender Ive just looked up your model on line its an interesting looking truck and nothing like anything we have over here. I would love to see some more photos of it
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
