with my motor smoking as it is and my options running out I think I might be in for a rebuild was just curious to see where other people take there donks for a new breath of life here in Christchurch,In the past I have taken my race motors to car aid down duke st and find there service very good but I want to get it done cheap as possible as my 4wd is really my second hobby so if you know anyone that would been keen for a cash job I will be stoked

Is your engine burning oil or is it makeing lots of fumes at the oil filler? Are you haveing oil pressure issues?
If not its unlikely that an engine rebuild is needed but injectors etc need a going over.

It is burning a heap of oil on start up it used to go away after a few minutes but now its getting worse and worse and doesnt seem ti be going away now

You wont know untill you get the head off but theres a fair chance that you might only need rings and bearings. The bores are chrome so dont wear although they do get corroded by bad diesel or oil.
What milage?
Have you considered second hand engines
