Postby Aufgeblassen » Wed Sep 02, 2009 9:32 am

Do I need to replace the water pump at 105000 miles while I change the timing belt, for the first time.

Oil seals are also optional, if there leaking change them, if there not leaking then dont worry to much

Over here we have a guy called Murphy who had a law written about his experiances with these things. Basically if you should do something and dont you can pretty much guarantee that the effects will be the worst possible. ie if you decide a seal doesnt need doing even though it came in the kit then expect it to be leaking in a few weeks. The harder it is to get to that seal the more likely its the leaking one
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
