Something about a timing belt for $35 just dont sit right with me.

Hes kosher. Its one of the 2 isuzu wreckers and parts places in Auckland
That fairly close to the normal trade price for just the belt. Its all the bearings and seals that make the kit cost more. Im still on original bearings and seals in my timing setup
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Mine was only $45.00 from supa cheep a year ago

iv seen ld28s in hiluxs,landrovers,landcruisers and ford couriers b4 . along with falcons and holdens and i seen a 1990 navara with one the other day so i thought it would have a chance in a bighorn . never measured it though so i dont no if it would .
