Postby mrmu2009 » Fri Oct 23, 2009 9:35 pm

hey guys, i hope u can help, my Mu stopped on me the other day driving to work, started fine never had any dramas, i found that the priming pump (above the fuel filter was leaking) so i changed it, but i think i may have go alo of air in the system, i tried to bleed the injectors but nothing came out, i tried the pump,(by undoing the bleed screw in the middle) i do get fuel, but im starting to think that this is a 2 man job would i be correct in saying this and would somone have a detailed way on doing this

usually just cracking the injector lines and turning the motor over till fuel starts coming out and then closing them again, should do the trick, but first make sure your fuel filter is full, thats the only way I've ever done it, if you have no leaks in your system to the IP, it should start,

OK, i tried what i have read and what has been suggested but with no luck, i have fuel bleeding from the pump return lines and bleed bold between the fuel lines, but nothing from the injector lines at all i used airosart to crank it over also and i have checked that power is getting to the stop solenoid, but when i manual connect power to the stop solenoid it does not tick or make any noise like they usually do, what would be the likeness that it could be the stop solenoid stoppingg fuel to be supplied the injectors?

also would anyone have any good literature on replacing this solenoid as the Haynes manual isn't very gooood

Rite now thats all I can think of is your start solenoid is bad, if it starts on either, then it not getting any fuel to the injectors, sorry Adrain, can't help you on how to replace solenoid, never did one on a Isuzu, Wayne
