What does this do???????????????

Hi all,

Just put a 3" dump pipe on my truck so off come the old dump pipe. Was looking that the old dump pipe and wondering what the flap is for?

That is your (ENGINE EXHAUST BRAKE). You don't realy need it.

Turned out to be 20L kerosine

It looks like one but can't be used as an exhaust brake.

When the quick warm-up system is activated (switch in dash, has an engine symbol with a coil ), that flap partially closes and puts more restriction in the exhaust, making engine warm-up quicker.

You can remove the flap, vacuum lines and switch from dash with no worries, lots of people on here have thrown it away, me included.

part of the cold start system. You dont need it in the tropics
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Its a sinker for fishing, mr isuzu thought you might want one one day so he put it in the exhaust for you.
Oh how i miss my mu, the lux is just not the same :(

The hole thing is really heavy, I think I got more power by losing weight then flow.
