2.5 turbo diesel oil filters

Postby wbski007 » Sat Nov 07, 2009 6:23 am

my 2.5 uses a AC PF1298 oil filter, not common over here, I can special order them but they cost $29.00 each, standerd filters for Ford, GM, Chysler cost $4.00 so thats a big jump in price, how much do they cost you chaps?? I'm just curious :?
cheers Wayne

diesels are hard on the oil so require more expensive filters
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
