i havnt seen 1 in a isuzu pump, just remove the fuel feed pipe on the top of the pump and jam a bic pen clear end first down into the hole, if it has 1 it will come out on the end of the pen, blow it out with air and brake clean

The bloke i bought the ute off got the pump timed once by a diesel mechanic when he put a new motor in. He said it ran pretty rough so he took a strainer out of the back (before the fuel goes out to the injector lines i guess) cleaned it and he said it ran heaps better. Does anyone know whats involved with taking the back of the pump off?
