Engine removal

Is it easier to remove the 4GJ2 in & out of a 96 wizard with or without the head on? To drop the front axle, is it 4 bolts into the underside of the chassis?

easier with head off but can get the engine in and out complete with the front diff still in just far easier if you lower the diff, yes is the 4 bolts into the chassis they have nuts on top
