4JJ1 sensor????

Postby solace108 » Tue Apr 25, 2017 1:05 pm

Hi guys, today I put in a new set of glow plugs and found this sensor, can anyone tell me what it is and does it have a vacuum line attached, it was not connected to anything and I can't find and loose vacuum line.
Thanks

Hard to tell as there are alot of sensors and solinoids on the 4jj1, looks like the boost pressure sensor, maybe a picture out more to see exactly where it is in the engine bay

From what I've found online it's definitely a boost pressure sensor, but for the life of me I can't see where it's plumbed

I dont know the 4jj1 but at a guess there should be a line from the other side of the intercooler that connects to this
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

It's definitely not in the intercooler I had a thorough look there.
