Looks like I REALLY screwed up

Postby TheColdWarKid2 » Fri May 05, 2017 8:29 pm

Just bought a 2003 Trooper in the Philippines. The people at the dealership told me the 4xj1 engine had a can chain instead of a belt. While checking that I stumbled onto your forum and the bad news...

This is a beautiful truck. I love it already. What should I do? Take my whipping and get rid of it?

Can somebody get back to me soon please?

Main issues sound to be fixed. If yu got it at a good price and its running well why panic. Biggest thing you have left to keep an eye on is the oil pressure sensor. If this leaks oil can run down the wireing loom to the computer breaking it
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Uh, where is the oil pressure sensor?

Be cautios with any leaks and keep an eye on the oil level. If it rises you have a problem
