Time for Timing Belt 92 Rodeo Faster Japanese RV

Postby IsuzuCamper » Fri Apr 10, 2020 10:02 am

Got nothing but time so great time for timing belt. I have a 92 Rodeo Faster/holden rv. 2.8 4JB1-t. I'm looking for as much info and tips to complete this correctly. I've done a few audis, major work. This doesn't look too bad. I found a sticker under the hood that referred (google translate) to the timing belt service but any date or mileage was gone. I've got a lot of time to do this project. Thanks in advanced everyone and I hope you all are healthy and as sane as you where when this circus started. Cheers Patrick

Luckily that engine isnt uncommon over there but there is a choise of 2 belts. Cant remember the part numbers but one has rounded teeth the other square
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
