Charging Issue Solved!!!!!!!!!!

Postby IsuzuCamper » Sat Jan 12, 2019 8:37 am

After further inspection, I found the dealer had connected the exciter wire to the ignition power (key on) back through the charge relay that turn the dash warning lights off off. This would make it seem it was charging. No warning light. But they left the wire cut to the alternator. No power to the exciter wire, no charge. I created a swtich with a diode that now powers the exciter and the charge relay. Problem solved. 14.5 and charging

Did you send the dealer a bill?
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
