ABS Light - Mind of it's own.

Postby PureZoo » Fri Apr 09, 2010 8:17 am

Hey All

Probably a well worn question/reply here, but did a search and could find a hit on the old topics/posts. My 1998 Wizard (yes the bad one I'm told) has an intermittent ABS light on/off issue.
It is not on all the time, but most of the time and is not consistent in its activation.
Have got the local specialist Isuzu Garage "Auto Lab" to run a diagnostic, the mechanic states there is no actual fault code coming up, but it does give a line of what is like "spades" out of a card deck which he hasn't seen before.

Any info would be appreciated.

I would check the sensors on your wheels to start with it may be dirt in there or even a tad loose. work from there.

Hey All
Well solved it eventually, was just some light corrosion it seems on the spade terminals on the both regulators for the ABS unit in the engine bay (Twin pink purple multi spade boxes).
Just thought I'd post in case it comes up for anyone else.
