Hazard Lights Malfunction

Postby dasnoboarder » Thu Apr 22, 2010 2:58 pm

Hey

What do I need to replace (and where do i find it) if my hazard lights are malfunctioning?

Indicators work as normal,
When hazard button switched, theres a fast clicking noise, but no lights come on.

More than likely just dust-dirt under the switch. Take the cover and blow out the dust-dirt and/or spray with contact cleaner

My manual shows a separate fuse for the hazard lights. Also the hazard switch is 3 pole so hazards are independent of the ignition. It looks like the fuse is EB1 and 15Amp
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

It was the switch for me, or at least after giving it a clean they are working again :)
