Dash lights on and charge gauge up to limit.

Postby harley26 » Tue Jun 22, 2010 11:30 am

Hi all, Am new to this so bare with me. My 96 MU has started having all the dash lights staying on and unless i keep the interior fan on full the battery charge indicator goes off the gauge. Is this definately the alternator and if so what other vehicle alternators will fit? Its the 3.1 turbo diesel model. Thanks in advance to any help that you can offer.
Cheers :?:

Yes failed regulator means new alternator. 3.1 Jackeroos have the same alternator
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Try Ashdown-Ingram Warana. Got one there myself, new unit not remanufactured, bolt in.
