dash lights on with new alternator

Hi all, my alternator died and i just replaced it but the timing belt, fuel, thermo and battery lights are still lit up on dash and heater fan not working. i tried the foglight relay in place of the charge relay but don't know if they are the same as it didn't work. is it a different relay and does anyone know whether the relays are readily available. also need a part number. could it be the relay or do the Mu's have an ecu computer like import nissans???? All sugestions greatly appreciated.

The charge relay is different to a normal relay. Charge relay is the same in a jackaroo and rodeo

Thanks pig75, i have put a parts request out for a blue relay as supercheap don't stock them here in qld. will see how i go and hopefully it fixes the prob. Cheers

Contacted Holden dealer in Gympie Qld this morning and was quoted $100 for this relay. What a rip. Still trying to find one from a wreckers. Not having much luck so if anyone has any spare then pm me. Cheers

I have now contacted a few auto sparkies and they can't supply, in fact one sparky in gympie went off at me and told me i should have got him to replace the alternator like it is some kind of rocket scientist job. I have had a look on "trademe" but couldn't find a listing for these relays. will keep trying. Thanks all for your advice and comments

Hi, Try contacting the dude with this ebay item 260667001538 , it has closed but his ph number is there, he is in Maryborough and is wrecking a MU and may have the part you need.
