1997 mu wizard engine computer box

Hi guys

I'm trying to locate the computer on my 1997 mu wizard I have seen photo's of them located in behind
centre dash below the radio just in front of the transmission...


Mines not located there....

I have found a silver box hanging off the fire wall by the steering column but the wire count is quite low only a single plug say aprox
20 wires...

Any ideas ??

My 98 manual model has what appears to be a computer there.There's a plug on it with a red plastic cover.Fault checking maybe ?
