Alternator Problem?

Postby isumu » Mon Feb 28, 2011 12:40 pm

Hi All

Recently, my Mu has had starting problems due to not enough juice from the battery (it will try to turn over but just not enough power).

I've concluded that this happens if I've taken a few short trips eg, picking someone up from the station for leaving the Mu at the station to catch train to work.

The battery is less than 1 year old, so I'm guessing that maybe the alternator is playing up? Could it be anything else?

Also, if it is the alternator, are the 2.8 and 3.1 the same?

Regards
Isumu
