Speedo Sensor

Hi guys just wondering if anyone can help me out here, i recently bought a 96 3.1 diesel turbo mu (auto) and i have no overdrive, when you push the button the od light just flashes on the dash but nothing happens it doesnt engage.
i managed to find the speed sensor or i think its the speed sensor underneath the mu and got it out and the pin bit on the end is almost worn right away the trouble is its a 2 pin plug not a 3 pin and i am having a hell of a time trying to find a replacement for it.
Any info would be awesome and so would any pictures of the sensor so i know im looking at the right thing thanks heaps.

Hi there, any luck with the sensor? I just replaced the speedo sensor on my '95 Bighorn using an aftermarket unit from E Parrott & Son in Christchurch. $125 + GST compared to 280+ from dealer. It is a three wire unit but they may have an option for yours. Cheers.

Hiya nope still no luck with the sesnor i got in touch with the guys you used but they couldnt help either, who woulda thought parts would be so hard to find hahaha

was the speedo indicating speed as well as the light flashing?

Try robinson instruments they are in auckland but the will do freight
