No Heater

Postby muzila » Tue Jul 12, 2011 7:11 pm

Hello.

My mate has a 94 auto 3.1 bighorn. The heater controler is an electronic thingy. It stoped working last night. Its not the fuses coz I checked them.

Any ideas what to look at next before I go pulling his pride and joy aparet before his very eyes?

Check the voltage at the battery with engine running. It should be 14 or so but I bet its 12.
If so its not the dash you will be crawling under

There should be a resistor pack on the side of the heater but this should alow full speed to work. Check voltages as you go
