Speedo Sender

Postby gmkruger » Wed Jul 27, 2011 4:14 pm

Hi there, my first 'new topic' post so forgive me if in the wrong section etc etc. I have just replaced the speedo sender unit on my '95 Bighorn 3.1 TD for the second time. No dismantlers in CH that I tried had one and was quoted 180+ GST from wrecker in Auckland. In the end I found a new aftermarket unit at E. Parrott & Son in CH for $125+. Just needed to solder the 3 wires (which were the same colours as the loom wires) as it is not supplied with a clip (guessing it is a generic unit). Thought this might be useful as they seem to go regularly and a new one for less dollars than a 2nd hand one has to be good! Cheers.
