Alternator

Hi all I have a Rodeo TF 4ze1. Seems like i need a new alternator, I am currently out bush in Aus and have come across an old car graveyard, some descent cars and gear here. Few rodeos to. My question was is there other alternators that are compatible fornthe TF rodeo? I heard Honda ones can be used.
