4jg2 95 bighorn twin battery

Postby steveNZ » Tue Jan 22, 2013 2:29 pm

Hi
On my 95 bighorn I have 2 battery system with both battery's wired in parallel
I cant say i have ever come across this before both battery pans look like they original

Is this a standard set up or has it been added as an extra later on?I am not going to change it at the moment as they system seems to work perfectly

Thanks

Its the cold climate package. Your car came from northern japan

as they are wired in parallel its easy enough to leave one out but the extra capacity is good for winching or fridges
