Alternator Isuzu Wizard Mu

Postby Johnfrancis » Sun Jul 23, 2017 6:53 pm

About to replace the old alternator with a new one. Followed advice and hauled out A/c compressor. Do I need to give the vacuum pump at the rear of the alternator a shot of engine oil or is that not required with a new unit....all the vacuum inlets have rubber stops on them I guess to keep the dust out and is that also to keep some oil in or have I got that all wrong. No instructions with the new unit.
