turn signal problems need help please

hi my name is fintan im 25 from cork ireland i own a mu 95 3.1 turbo manual and my problem is i have left turn and flashers and all my bulbs work but i have no right turn signal it just went all of a sudden, when i put them on it makes a noise as if a bulb is blown and no right arrow comes on in the dash display also the flashers wont work without the left signal being on first very strange and head wrecking cant figure it out, any help or advice apreciated thank you.ps will have pics of it up soon just joined this site it is brill thanks.

Try the hazard switch, they seem to stick a little.

I had a similar problem ..

1st I changed the flasher relay .. ( I had to take out the speaker in the dash to get to it ) .. same problem..
2nd I changed the indicator stalk on the steering column .. ( need to take the steering wheel off.. ( ie: this bit .. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Holden-TF-Rodeo- ... 518f1153b0)

I had the same problem. I found that in my case it was the contacts in the switch. After pulling the steering wheel off it was quite simple to get to and fix. the switch unit had to come out and I used a bit of sand paper to clean up the contacts. They where touching but one side was ruff and not working right. All fixed now. took longer to get the bloody steering wheel back on strait than the whole fix it job. lol.

the switch unit had to come out and I used a bit of sand paper to clean up the contacts.
...I also had to bend contacts litlle bit upwards....
