Postby DonaldNZ » Tue Mar 05, 2019 11:19 am

I found one ecu in front of the gear selector but do not know if it is the correct one, I cannot remove it yet as a screw is siezed.
info I have for similar trans shows three rows of trans ecu terminals,

Extra trans cooler in series & before radiator trans cooler.
airlift airbags in rear springs running 5-25psi, so far worked a treat, no longer bottoms out with 5 people and gear and still doesn't rattle me one up and empty. Watch the us paddle switches as my first pair leak. I've air electric replacements yet to fit.

Ours was above where the clutch pedal would be, bolted to the firewall.

Just want to share. If you have a little knowledge about electronic, can use this tcm to trigger the door lock during it shift to 2nd gear. Feature standard most of car nowday... Door auto lock at speed 10mph@20kmh. My Bighorn 1997 auto have this.

Re: ucs69 97wizard. Central lock brain. Drivers fr window sw

Yeah that auto locking is too freaky for us, Lover wouldn't travel in the [to us] new 97 Wizard until I disabled that. Don't blame her.
We bought a 4 door & seat belts off at mountains so you've at least got half a half chance in the back if we go over.

My ucs69 wizard drivers door switch assembly controls is the central locking brain, Yet has no control lock /unlock button on the front.
with input from the drivers door lock [so this is where I'd hook up to if I wanted my alarm to [un] lock my car]
this control outputs [2 wires] to drive all the door locks, drivers included,
My alarm fob only unlocks the rear glass if the alarm is off. [in addition to [un] setting the alarm. So I also need a key to get in.
Lucky we don't get armed hold ups at the lights here, yet.

I own another truck isuzu D max 2006. 4JH1 engine VP44 pump. That auto lock already on d max. Thats why I want to copy it in my bighorn. I like that feature... Accidentally found the output wire from tcm in Bighorn to control solenoid in auto tranny doing the gear shift thing. So I link that output to door lock control centre@alarm (with addition a simple circuit electronic component to convert +12V to - 12V) so the door lock will auto lock during speed 10mph@20kmh. For me its cool feature for the car in year 1997.

Curious to know, why only rear glass, not the whole door. Is it alarm problem or setting of alarm

That's how the wizard works, you have to open the glass upwards then you can open the back door to the left side. the rear door auto locks every closing and must be unlocked every opening either by key in the rear door or lifting the internal knob once the glass is opened.
the rear glass is also opened by a switch on the dash.
its handy for the groceries too.
