Gday blokes
I have to replace a rear wheel bearing, 94 4x4 rodeo. How do you set the preload, shims required.

its a sealed bearing press off press on. Mine took 50 ton to remove
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Tar geeves, mine has a cup and cone bearing which is retained by a big nut and there are shims between the bearing carrier and theend of the diff/axle housing, any pics from w/shop manual?

Are you sure about that? No isuzu rear diff I know of is like that.
A photo might help

Yep, , have it sitting right here in front of me. Brake plate, bearing carrier, cup and cone bearing, 55mm retaining nut, shims.

irfanview is good for resizing images and free

Good link. The first option is how I thought thought they all were. The second is the one you want The third is usa only

All drum brake isuzu utes have cup and cone bearings 8n the rear, have just guessed preload in all the ones I've done or secondhand axle as it's not common they fail
