MU to Irmscher gearbox and diff compatibility

Hi guys newbie here. Im wanting to know if the the gearbox diffs and transfer case are the same in a 1992 2.8l turbo non intercooled Mu and my 1990 2.8l turbo intercooled irmscher/bighorn i know that this particular Mu has a LSD and so does the Irmscher if that helps.

any info would be good cheers

Same box except the shiftter is different . I belive these can be swapped over but not sure
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

The MU rear spring mounts on the diff will be wider than the bighorn diff. The diffs are the same just where the mounts are welded on is different

With the diff you just swap the head. Its quite hard to damage the casing without doing big damage to the rest of the car
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

You will need the gearshift remote off the Mu box to put on the Bighorn box. thats the only differance in the boxes though.
