Diff ratio

Postby slightlydodgy » Tue Jul 07, 2009 5:05 am

Can anyone tell me what ratio diff I have. (Looking at an lsd) The speedo was accurate with the original 28 1/2 - 29 inch tyres. Have tried counting revolutions like Geeves described in the old forum and never seem to get the same answer twice

Only 2 ways to be sure. The counting revs as described or open the dif and count teeth.
The possibilities are 4.3 , 4.56,4.8
Ill put 5c (cash) on it being 4.56
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
