How do i fix this

Yes i bent one of the bash plates under my mu at the weekend.......so any ideas how i can straighten it out ? it rubs the transmission. :mrgreen:

Put it on back to front and hit the same bump lol.

Maybe some heat and a hammer

Or make one from scratch thats stronger.

Was that the rock you parked on?
5 pound hammer and earmuffs always straightens mine.
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

I took it to work, they have heavy machinery to fix dents we put in the buses, so this should only costa packet of tim tams :D :lol: ;)

5mm steel. Any stronger and it will be too heavy. If they cant do it at work give me a call and you can borrow a big hammer. I wont be home this weekend but Linda knows where the hammer is.

I've put good dints like that in mine and after a couple of hits in the right places with a sledge hammer it was near enough. they can only handle this a few times and then they start breaking mounts and stuff
Oh how i miss my mu, the lux is just not the same :(

its ok all fixed, they have some heavy bench presses @ my work so we just sqished it back into shape.
