HIu recently a friend an i built a sMUrf.

91 3.1 auto into a manual surf 91.

With out the computer wired up the auto goes takes off in 2nd an goes into drive, preferably we would like to have 1st and overdrive.

We pulled out the whole wiring loom and computer from the mu but there are a shit load of wires running to an from the auto ecu.

Does anyone know if you can run the auto in 1st and O/D without having the computer in?

sounds like a limp home setting. The computer controls everything. Easiest way would be meter a Mu loom and work out what goes where. If you send me a pm I can get a cd with the manuals to you (where in welly are you)
