Thanks mate! But I've already got some 5 degree ones from snake racing...

Just need to put them on, take out the gearbox spacers and test sometime!

Hey Andy, did you manage to fit the wedges and get that vibration thing sorted? (the reason i ask is i was looking to get some HR-15 springs too but have been holding off after seeing this thread, i was thinking along the lines of using slightly longer shackles instead of wedges - there are two different lengths available from Lovells for those springs, depending on which year you select - but i guess i would then need to raise the front up even more to keep things level which i'd rather not do).

Hey TBone,

The gearbox drop has made the vibrations go away.

I've got the springs wedges ready to go in (5 degree ones) but haven't put them in yet.

Have been putting it off because I'll have to remove the gearbox spacer kit to test it properly.

I do want to do this though, to regain clearance under the crossmember.

Longer shackes would help the pinion angle, but you're right, you'd need to lift the front quite a bit to match - probably too much to be practical.

Will get around to it, just fitted the rear locker this weekend.

Cheers

hmm might have to bite the bullet and give them a try (once i have some cash) then see what the vibration is like and take it from there. have fun with that locker, thats something else i want to get

Can you guys PM if the wedges alone reduce the vibration,.....I'll write a FAQ for general interests.

It appears that the gearbox drop can fix the issue but that just lowers the overall ramp over angle to the car, Wedges would be better if they work?

Cheers
